Our Prototype

Our idea was originally to place these hydrogels, or cross-linked acrylic polymers inside of a wall, table, or other item that can be essential to some rooms. But after further testing (Refer to our Expirimental Design page), our team found that the hydrogels themselves only can cool the air around them, and then thats it. With the help of some fans and other aids, we were able to design this prototype, which is primarily used to cool a single area, such as a car, desk space, and more. This is much better than cooling the air below it, which is what it would do without any fans

 

Using our schools 3D Printer, we were able to print out a really cool Prototype!
